The Sweetgrass team spent the winter designing potential floating wetland and other shoreline restoration prototypes, as well as applying for permits needed for a successful spring launch. Jenn Engelke lead the design effort and came up with drawings that the prototyping team has been able to start building this past March. The prototyping team, which includes Sweetgrass members, Earthcorps., and students, have been playing with various different materials to test for various floating abilities.
